Glossary
A reference list of key technical and analytical terms used throughout the Raphael Sentinel whitepaper. These definitions ensure clarity for readers regardless of their familiarity with Solana, token mechanics, or on-chain intelligence.
A
API (Application Programming Interface)
A set of programmatically accessible endpoints that allow external applications to communicate with Raphael Sentinel and trigger analyses or fetch results.
Authority (Mint / Freeze / Update)
Control privileges on an SPL token that determine who can mint new supply, freeze accounts, or modify metadata. A major risk factor in SPL token analysis.
B
Behavioral Analysis
A method of evaluating token risk based on wallet actions, timing, coordination, and exit patterns — rather than contract properties.
Bonding Curve Token
A token launched via a bonding-curve mechanism (e.g., Pump.fun). Liquidity is locked by design, so traditional LP-based rug pulls are impossible; the primary risks come from wallet behavior and dev manipulation.
Bot
Automated trading agent performing high-speed or repetitive transactions. Types include MEV bots, snipers, wash-traders, and liquidity attackers.
C
Cluster
A group of wallets that act together, connected through:
funding patterns
synchronized timing
repeated co-participation
behavioral similarity
Clusters reveal hidden dev networks and manipulation patterns.
Cluster Detection
The process of identifying groups of related wallets using graph analysis, timing correlation, and pattern recognition.
Confidence Score
A metric indicating how statistically reliable a risk score is, based on data density and clarity of detected signals.
D
Dev Cluster
A wallet cluster controlled (directly or indirectly) by the token’s creator. Often responsible for early buying, supply dominance, and coordinated dumping.
Dump / Exit
The act of selling tokens rapidly, often by dev clusters or bots. High exit velocity indicates elevated risk.
E
Exit Momentum
The rate and intensity at which wallets sell their positions, used to detect early warning signs of coordinated rug-like behavior.
Exit Asymmetry
When dev wallets exit disproportionately faster or harder than retail wallets, indicating manipulation.
F
Funding Graph
A multi-hop trace of where wallets received their SOL before interacting with a token. Used to reveal linked wallets and cluster structures.
Fake Volume / Wash Trading
Artificial trading activity designed to inflate perceived market demand or liquidity.
G
Gini Coefficient
A mathematical measure of holder concentration. Higher Gini = higher centralization = increased risk.
H
Helius Enhanced Transactions
A high-resolution Solana data provider offering decoded instructions and enriched transaction metadata used by Sentinel.
Holder Integrity
A metric describing how healthy and organic the token’s holder distribution is.
I
Intelligence Engine
The core system responsible for aggregating on-chain data, analyzing wallet behavior, scoring risk, and generating insights.
L
Liquidity Pool (LP)
A pair of tokens used for decentralized trading on platforms like Raydium or Orca. LP manipulation is a major SPL token risk.
LP Stability
Measures how secure, decentralized, and tamper-resistant the token’s liquidity pool is.
M
MEV Bot (Maximum Extractable Value)
A bot that exploits price or routing inefficiencies through ultra-fast automated trades.
O
Overlap Analysis
A method that identifies shared wallets, clusters, or patterns across different tokens, revealing repeated malicious behavior.
P
Pump.fun Token
A bonding-curve token created through the Pump.fun platform. LP is auto-generated and locked; risk comes from cluster behavior, not contract code.
Priority Tier
Determines queue and processing priority for analyses. VIP > Pro > Free > Anonymous.
R
Risk Engine
A deterministic scoring model that converts analytical signals into a numeric 0–100 risk score.
Risk Level
Categorized output of the risk score:
Low
Medium
High
Extreme
Routing Pattern
The specific DEX or contract instructions used by a wallet, used to detect bots or coordinated behavior.
S
Scoring Model
A structured set of weighted metrics that determine the final risk score for SPL or bonding-curve tokens.
Snipe Bot
A bot that buys instantly at token launch to capture early price advantage.
Swarm Wallets
A coordinated group of wallets used to simulate organic demand. Often pre-funded by the dev.
T
Token Type Detection
The process of identifying whether a token is SPL or bonding-curve-based.
Token Overlap Engine
System detecting cross-token wallet reuse, cluster repetition, and behavioral similarity.
V
VIP Tier
Unlocked by holding ≥0.5% of total supply (or dynamic equivalent). Provides extra discounts, highest API limits, and fastest analysis priority.
W
Wallet Intelligence Model (WIM)
Sentinel’s behavioral profiling system that tracks wallet history across all analyzed tokens, identifying bad actors and recognizing patterns.
Wash Trading
Trading with oneself or coordinated wallets to spoof volume.
